Founder, Director, Chief Technology Officer
Joe has over 25 years of experience in technology. Prior to founding Aberrant, he served as the CTO of First Republic Bank where he successfully led the bank’s digital transformation into AWS and drove its FFIEC CAT compliance initiative. Joe joined First Republic following the bank’s acquisition of Gradifi in 2016, a fintech company that pioneered student loan repayment as an HR benefit. At Gradifi, he served as both CTO and CISO from the company's inception, building and managing its security program from the ground up. He played a key role in Gradifi’s acquisition by First Republic Bank and its subsequent sale to E*TRADE in 2019. Joe holds a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MSE from Brandeis University. He's a veteran, he currently lives in Boston, MA.

Sergey is a seasoned software engineer with over 20 years of experience delivering impactful technology solutions across public and private sectors. He currently leads engineering initiatives focusing on system performance, security, and scalability while mentoring teams and aligning technical efforts with business goals. Previously, at Morgan Stanley (Gradifi Solutions), he played a key role in developing fintech platforms that enhanced financial wellness programs. Known for his ability to bridge technical and business domains, Sergey brings a strategic, collaborative approach to complex problem-solving.
Director, Strategy & Business Development
Martín brings nearly 20 years of experience at the intersection of defense and technology. A former U.S. Army officer and Deloitte consultant, he has built a career helping organizations navigate complex security challenges while driving growth through innovation. At Aberrant, Martín leads strategy and business development, focusing on go-to-market execution, partnerships, and scaling our platform to meet the needs of Managed Service Providers () and the Defense Industrial Base. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. Martín lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his family, and continues to stay deeply engaged in national security and veteran leadership initiatives.
